Ignou MBA Admission 2018 - The Indira Gandhi National Open University has published the advertisement on its official website regarding admission to its Master of Business Administration programme in January 2018 and July 2018 session. The admission will be conducted totally on the basis of merit obtained by candidates in the OPENMAT entrance test.

The university will conduct Ignou OPENMAT entrance test all over the country in the selected examination centres to shortlist candidates for admission. The Ignou MBA entrance test is conducted twice in a year i.e in the months of February and September every year. The score obtain by candidates who qualifies the entrance exam remains valid for next two sessions. Therefore, the candidates who will qualify OPENMAT XLII will remail valid for January and July 2018 sessions. The candidates can take admission in any of these sessions with valid score code of Ignou OPENMAT entrance test.

Ignou MBA Eligibility Criteria - There is a certain eligibility criteria which every candidate has to fulfill before applying for entrance test or admission. Otherwise, they will be disqualified for admission.

Here is the basic eligibility criteria for Ignou MBA admission:

1.  Any Graduate (including Chartered Accountancy/Cost Accountancy/Company Secretaryship) with 50% marks for General Category/45% for reserved category as per Government of India rules.
2. The candidate must qualify OPENMAT conducted by Ignou.
3. There is no age bar set up university for admission.

• Date of Ignou OPENMAT entrance test: 24th September 2017

How to Apply for Ignou MBA admission 2018?

To apply for entrance test or admission, the candidates should download application form and prospectus from the universal official website. The candidates can also cut application form from Ignou MBA prospectus as well.

Student Handbook & Prospectus for Management Programme 2018 can be

obtained from the Director (SSC), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068 or from any Regional Centre of IGNOU by sending a sum of Rs. 1050/- through a Demand Draft/IPO in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi/city of Regional Centre concerned or by paying Rs. 1000/- in cash at the respective sales counters. 

They should send filled-in application form to Registrar (SED), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi - 110068, by Registered Post/Speed Post on or before 11th August, 2017
